UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention calls for Andargachew Tsege’s immediate release
UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention released an opinion on Andargachew Tsige (Tsege) ‘s illegal detention in Ethiopia. In the report, it concludes that the ”adequate remedy would be to release Mr Tsige and afford him adequate compensation.”
The group also “call for all States to cooperate with the Working Groups to take account of its views and, where necessary, to take appropriate Steps to remedy the situation Of persons arbitrarily deprived of their liberty, and to inform the Working Group of the steps they have taken.”
